Introduction

Welcome to Truepic! The first step in the integration process is providing Truepic with the information required to issue you keys across platforms. Our SDKs and APIs require valid keys used only in allowed origins and applications.

Registration

Please click through to the Lens Developer Registration Form. The form walks you through gathering and providing all of the information we need to issue you keys for each platform (web, iOS, Android, and API) you intend to use. If you only want to request keys for a specific platform (e.g. for Web SDK only), you may skip other sections, as all the fields are optional. You can fill out the form again at any time to either update existing registration or request keys for additional platforms.

Key Scopes

You will need to utilize keys to complete your integration of Lens on Android, iOS, and the web API. Here are the default key scopes for each platform:

iOS and Android SDK keys:

• enrollments.create - Used to enroll that SDK instance on that device.

Web API keys:

• captures.create - Allowed to upload photos and videos to the Lens API to be processed.
• captures.read - Allowed to request details on photos and videos in process, or that have been temporarily stored prior to deletion.
• captures.update - Allowed to update custom data on photos and videos in process, or that that been temporarily stored prior to deletion.
• captures.delete - Allowed to delete photos and videos that have been processed by the Lens API. Note, all processed images will be auto-deleted based on the Capture Auto Delete Interval discussed above.

As soon as you’re ready, we’ll process your registration and send you keys and SDK zips through a secure transfer.

Each org unit is issued one development and production key per platform. If you would like to generate additional keys and/or limit the scope of a key, let us know.
